Interesting about the glutamate taste.

Is this the taste that monosodium glutamate imparts?

Seems likely, given how ubiquitous it is in foods. I suspect that, in the body, it breaks down into sodium ions and glutamate. Perhaps it's more stable than glutamate on it's own...

Do bubbles from any source inhibit the sweetness; would explain why flat Asti Spumanti is yuck.

Why do females tend to like fizzy wine?

Coke obviously is a good match for fast food outlets if it makes for hunger.

And then the fast food salt makes for thirst.

I don't know about Asti Spumanti, but it wouldn't surprise me. Coke and salt are like a one-two punch in the gut for willpower. They know what they are doing.

I think it would be fair to say there is a symbiotic relationship between Agri-Biz, Big Pharma and the Medical Industrial Complex. Yesterday I flagged an article from the AMA indicating that 90% of American adults have stage one or higher markers for a heart condition known as CKM. (https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2024-05-13/mysterious-brand-new-heart-syndrome-reportedly-affects-90-us-population) By sickening the population with so many chronic diseases, Agri-Biz is creating a Golden Age for Big Pharma and Private Healthcare.
